Product Description

Infrared Drop Sensor VHOP40-2424 is a set of compact modules to detect whether product is vended after a selection is made. Once the product passes through the sensor, the machine confirms the transaction as complete. The drop sensors, when used in vending machines, ensure that your product dispenses or gives customers money back to make another selection.
The drop sensor, attached to the underside of the delivery chute, sends a signal to the microcontroller when a product hits the delivery chute. It includes IR emitter and receiver for covering up to 1 meter. The implementations of modulated IR signal immune the sensor to the interferences caused by the normal light of a light bulb or the sun light; even transparent item can be detected.
